GATHER Learning Stages (ages)
These are the basic learning stages we are working from in our community.
1. FOUNDATIONS (6-6/7) Focus: Wonder, worship, and readiness
Vision: These early learners are just beginning their academic journey. Through story, song, and play, they lay down roots in literacy, number sense, and an understanding of God’s world.
Tagline Idea: “Laying roots in truth and wonder.”
2. EXPLORERS (7-10) Focus: Discovery, fluency, and formation
Vision: At this stage, students are growing in their love of learning. They explore the world through history, literature, and Scripture—connecting ideas and building skills with confidence.
Tagline Idea: “Growing in wisdom, one truth at a time.”
3. SCHOLARS (11-15) Focus: Depth, discussion, and discernment
Vision: Scholars engage with deeper texts and ideas, developing logic, worldview, and eloquence. They are equipped to think biblically, communicate clearly, and live faithfully in a complex world.
Tagline Idea: “Rooted in truth, growing in grace, reaching with purpose.”
